More than 30 people including staff from the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation and international students attend the training.
Starting from the formation of the Chinese character “zai” (disaster), a teacher from the Department of University Security, Ya Tuanjie, vividly explains the harms caused by fires and the importance of fire safety work. The training provides a detailed explanation of the responsibilities and obligations stipulated in the new Fire Protection Law, as well as fire safety knowledge on how to prevent fires in daily work and life, how to self-rescue after a fire occurs, how to correctly use fire extinguishers and smoke masks, and how to organize evacuation and guidance, based on specific fire cases, from four aspects: fire protection laws and regulations, fire protection knowledge, use of fire protection facilities, fire extinguishing and escape.
At the dormitory of foreign experts and international students, Department of University Security gives on-site training on the inspection of fire-fighting facilities and equipment, and on how to use fire extinguishers and fire hoses.
This special training aims to strengthen the fire safety awareness of teachers and students, popularize fire safety knowledge, improve the ability to respond to and handle fire emergencies, and further strengthen the defense line of fire safety in the university.
