(By Wang Guangqi/Photo by Cui Yawen) On October 29, vice president Liu Honglin leads the heads of Department of International Exchange and Cooperation (School of International Education) to International Student Dormitory Building and School of Foreign Languages to inspect the work and study of international teachers and students.

Liu Honglin first goes to the International Student Dormitory Building and carefully checks the implementation of the solutions to the problems and suggestions gathered a few days ago. He points out that those urgent, difficult, worrying and expectant problems reflected by the students have been solved, which is a concrete manifestation of the full implementation of the requirements to do practical things for teachers and students. He urges the students to abide by the university’s epidemic prevention policies, do a good job in personal protection, pay attention to the safe use of electricity and food, work hard to learn Chinese and professional knowledge with a more serious attitude, and strive to be ambassadors for cultural exchanges between China and their home countries. The students are grateful to the university for providing good accommodation and promise to continue their hard work.

Next, Liu Honglin goes to School of Foreign Languages to check the progress of international teachers' tutoring room and international teachers' office. In Room 409 of the Foreign Languages Building, Liu Honglin inspects the hardware facilities of the international teachers' tutoring room on the spot and puts forward suggestions for optimization. In Room 105 of the Foreign Languages Building, Liu Honglin has cordial exchanges with Frank and Dawn, international teachers who are carrying out teaching and research activities in the Elementary English Teaching and Research Section, and carefully inquires about the development of teaching and research activities and the construction of the international teachers' tutoring room. International teachers are very satisfied with the university’s arrangements, and express that they would actively participate in teaching and research activities and integrate themselves into the teaching family of Nanyang Normal University.
