(By Yang Tian) On the morning of September 29, vice president Liu Honglin leads a team of heads in relevant departments such as Department of International Exchange and Cooperation (School of International Education) and Logistics Management and Service Center into the international student dormitory building in order to inspect its management.

Through on-the-spot observation and face-to-face communication with management personnel and students, Liu Honglin actively responds and patiently answers the questions appeared in the current management of student dormitory, especially the urgent, difficult, worrying and expectant questions reflected by students. Liu Honglin also urges students to pay special attention to the safety of epidemic prevention and control, electricity use, traffic and food. The students express their gratitude and understanding for the university’s care. Liu Honglin instructs the management personnel to create a comfortable and safe living and learning environment for students, come up with a comprehensive plan for creating a cultural atmosphere within the dormitory, organize a whole range of cultural and sports activities, promote exchanges, understanding, mutual trust and tolerance between Chinese and international teachers and students, enrich the connotation of "Study in Nanyang Normal University", expand the brand influence of Nanyang Normal University in international talent competition, cultivate more international talents for the country who know China, love China, befriend China, and tell China’s stories, and make our share of the contributions to the international cultural exchanges.
