(By Yang Tian) On July 11th, Department of International Exchange and Cooperation (School of International Education) organize international teachers and students staying on campus to go to Xixia to carry out experiential learning of "Touring Beautiful Countryside", as one of a series of “Traveling around Henan” activities.

In the morning, a group of international teachers and students from School of International Education visit Henan the Way of Nature Health Management Co., Ltd., an alumni enterprise, and Henan Zhongjing Food Co., Ltd., a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, to see the company’s automated production workshop and experience the modern high-tech processing and transformation process of agricultural produce.

In the afternoon, the group of international teachers and students go to Xixia Guangkai Foreign Languages School to see 4 international students of our university who are engaged in volunteer activities there, and hold a talk with the leaders of Guangkai Foreign Languages School on future cooperation. International teachers and students of our university enthusiastically interact with teachers and students of Guangkai Foreign Languages School and exchange experience on how to improve language teaching and study, which is well received by the teachers and students of Guangkai Foreign Languages School.

This event enables the international teachers and students of our university experience and witness in person the latest achievements in the construction of China's beautiful countryside, and makes them rediscover Nanyang, their “second hometown”, and gain a deeper understanding of her profound history and culture, abundant resource endowment and rapid economic and social development.
