王光旭,中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所研究员,博士生导师。2008年毕业于南阳师范学院,2011年、2014年先后获得中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所理学硕士、理学博士学位,2014年留该所工作至今。主要从事早古生代珊瑚系统学及相关地层学、古地理学、生物宏演化研究。迄今共发表论著60余篇(册),含第一作者29篇、专著和专辑各1册。
