2025 Academic Meeting and Academic Committee Member Meeting of Overseas Expertise Center for Discipline Innovation of Watershed Ecological Security in the Water Source Area of the Middle Route of the South to North Water Diversion Project (Nanyang Henan China)
Ensuring the ecological security of water sources is the key to ensuring the safety of drinking water, which directly affects the life and health of the people and the harmony and stability of society. Globally, more than 2 billion people live in water-scarce countries. In China, about two-thirds of cities are experiencing water problems. How to efficiently manage water resources and maintain the ecological security of water sources is of great strategic significance for future development.
In 2025, the academic committee meeting of the discipline innovation and intelligence introduction base of the National South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Water Source Area Basin Ecological Security College mainly focused on "water ecological security and river basin ecological health" Many well-known experts in the field of river basin ecological security were invited to attend the meeting. To comprehensively summarize and prospect the work progress and future development of the National South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Water Source Area Watershed Ecological Safety Discipline Innovation and Intelligence Introduction Base for Higher Education Institutions, we warmly welcome experts and scholars in the field of watershed ecological safety from both domestic and international communities to actively participate.
