围绕软籽石榴、猕猴桃、食用菌、月季、艾草、道地药材等南阳特色植物开展种质筛选、新品种选育、高产栽培技术研究;依据南阳南北气候过渡带地域优势,开展适合南阳地区种植的丰产优质多抗作物品种筛选及高效栽培技术研究。

Focusing on characteristic plants in Nanyang such as soft-seed pomegranate, kiwifruit, edible fungi, roses, mugwort, and authentic medicinal materials, research is conducted on germplasm screening, new variety breeding, and high-yield cultivation techniques.
Leveraging the geographical advantage of Nanyang as a transitional climate zone between the north and south, research is carried out on the screening of high-yielding, high-quality, and multi-resistant crop varieties suitable for cultivation in Nanyang and the development of efficient cultivation techniques.
