LABORATORY RESEARCH
Henan Provincial Engineering and Technology Center of Health Products for Livestock and Poultry
focuses on studying the molecular mechanisms of host-pathogen interaction using structural and
biochemical tools with the ultimate goal to provide the foundation for the development of
therapeutics targeting animal inflammatory disease.
1) Production of oral rotavirus-enterovirus71 bivalent virus like particles vaccine using multi-gene
expression silkworm bioreactor.
2) Development of reverse genetic vaccine against Porcine Rotavirus.
3) MicroRNA biology research on Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV)
infection and replication.
4) Isolation and identification pathogen from the disease animals.
5) Construction of the RNAi vectors with inducible promoter to against BmNPV infection.
