Itis not until now that I realize there is no more appropriate timethan this to express my gratitude and love to her, WangYongsha,mybest friend. We have so many sweet moments we both cherish. I can’thelp butmakemyself sink into the ocean of my memory.
Istill remember that rainynight four years ago, when I suddenly fell ill in the dormitory.I had a high fever and I knew I had to be sent to hospital assoon as possible.Butit was midnight,rainingheavily.Myroommate, WangYongsha,wokeup and found something wrong with me.Sheoffered to take me to hospital, and she took care of me when I wasgetting an injection.Withouther help I wouldn’t have recovered so quickly.

Peoplesayfriendshipis like wine. Friendship is accumulated day by day. Maybe there is alittle friction between the two of you, but your friendship can beconsolidated only after these frictions and disputes.
Inmy opinion, friendship is a touch of the sun when you are frustrated,and a harbor that you can rely on when you are at a loss. Friendsshould help each other. As an ancient Chinese proverb goes,“Propriety suggests reciprocity. It is propriety not to giveout but to receive, or vice versa.” Friendship for each of usis very important, because each of us does not exist in the worldindependently, and human beings are gregarious animals, so networkcircles remain very important in our present society.

Inlife we can hardly do without friends. There are many difficultiesand problems we can’t overcome with only our own efforts.Besides, we need friends to share our joys and sorrows, otherwise wewill feel lonely.
Whatis true friendship? A good friend is someone who respects you and whoyou respect. As the saying goes, “A friend in need is a friendindeed.” True friends are those who never desert you when youare in need. On the contrary, they will offer you sincere andselfless help even at the cost of their own interests. Moreover, theywill encourage you to stick to what is right and tell us not to dowhat is wrong or illegal.
Inmy opinion, true friendship is largely based on supporting eachother. Whenever we have problems, we never hesitate to offer supportto each other. In conclusion, true friendship will stand the test oftime.

Thefriendship between my soulmate and me started in our first year ofjunior high school.
Shewas the only one who attracted my attention when I went to school,because she had a strange hairstyle and wore strange clothes. I wasvery surprised to find that she was my classmate when I entered theclassroom. My sight always followed her involuntarily, as I was fullof curiosity about her.
Shewas late for class and slept in class frequently. Sometimes I saw hereating food swaggeringly when we all were in class. So she wascriticized by the teacher frequently. I always saw her quarrelingwith my classmates. I guessed her character was domineering, so Ididn't like her.
Accordingto the class rules, we had to change our seats every month.
Ifelt it like a bolt from the blue when I knew that she was going tobe my desk mate for one month. I seldom talked to her after we becamedesk mates. To my surprise, her grades were at the top after exams.However, I got bad grades. I had no talent for math. She told me themethods of how to learn math and answered my questions patiently whenshe knew I was bothered by math. I improved my ability in math withher help. From then on, my hostility towards her disappeared. One dayI had a cold for a week. I was so moved that she helped me keep mycup filled with boiled water constantly in those days, knowing thatthere was always a long queue at the water room. We became bestfriends and were together every day, eating, chatting, shopping, andso on. I felt very guilty of having misunderstood her and began tounderstand all sorts of her weird behaviors, when she told me thatshe lived with her mother after her parents divorced.
Threeyears later, we were admitted to the same senior high school. But shewas in the experimental class and I was in the regular class. Afterthe College Entrance Examination, we were admitted to differentschools. Now she is studying in Zhengzhou, and I am studying inNanyang. Although the opportunities for us to get together becamefew, our relationship became firmer.

Whenwebegin to separate ourselves and grow away from our families inadolescence, friendships become even more important to us as sourcesof support. However, in late adolescence and early adulthood,friendship can take a back seat to romantic relationships. Marriagecan disrupt friendships:ourinterests change, and we begin to form relationships with othercouples. In the same way, divorce can disrupt the friendships weformed as couples. Recently,I watched a funny video. It was about a pair of British brothers. Theelder, Ben, played tricks on his brother because of excessivedrinking. So it started from that. He made videos of how he playedtricks on his brother and shared the video on Facebook.
Bydoing so, Ben eventually had five million fans. A lot of peoplethought that Ben should not do that to his brother. But Ben insistedon putting the videos on Facebook. Although Eliot, his brother, wasvery angry and felt humiliated, his mood would be as bright assunlight the next morning. This was because Eliot knew Ben did thesethings for fun.
It’soften said that friendship can be wrecked out of the blue. But theirboat is practically unsinkable.

Friendshipis described in a TV series as “a good friend is like a hotspring…when you lie in it, all intensions will slowly bringhappiness to life.” In real life, my friendship is the story ofthree girls, two other companions and I.
Wegrew up in the same village and went to the same primary school andjunior high school. We have common pursuits, but now we are indifferent universities, that is, I am in Nanyang, one in Zhengzhou,another in Jiaozuo. Distance-wise, I don’t think alienation hasaffected our friendship. Although we seldom meet, we usually keep incontact via phone, QQ, or WeChat. When one of us is in trouble wewill encourage each other.
Surely,whenever we have a holiday we will gather together traveling,enjoying delicious meals. For thelast holiday we went to climb DaimeiMountain, and admired the verybeautiful scenery of the scenic spots. Allof us were moved by the love story of theDaimei Empress and Shangtang King. That day wehad a pleasant time.

Franklyspeaking, from my point of view, the truth is quite the opposite. Thesmall ship of friendship will not easily upset. However you want tomake fun of the "ship,” one thing is clear…friendshipnot only part of the picture, it is the picture.
Letme tell you about friendship. Yang is my best friend; we’veknown each other for seven years, since junior high school. So, in away, she plays a very important part in my youth. She witnessed mygrowth, warmed my entire youth, my sensitive heart.
WhenI was a fresh student of high school, I was a very timid girl. Iliked a cool boy in our class. So Yang became my wingman. She helpedme to pursue the boy. As the saying goes, when you like someonesecretly, you will think the man likes you, too. But the truth isembarrassing. The saying is just, "you think". But I didn'tunderstand that at the time. Yang encouraged me to do what I want,finally, I decided to confess my feelings. I chose to write a letter,in a very old-fashioned way.
Asthe result, the relationship came to a premature end. After class,this letter was spread all over the class. The boy's desk mate Lee,held the letter high and was ready to read it. Everyone kicked up afuss. I was very anguished and ashamed. Yang was so angry that shethrew a book on Lee's head. Then she ran very fast to take theletter, and tore up it. Lee's forehead was bruised. Our class was amess. Just then, the head teacher came into the class. Yang took allresponsibility. She received the punishments from the school and herfamily.
Anew week began, when she came into the class, I couldn't help crying.I gave her a big hug, my eyes red and swollen. She held me tight andcomforted me, telling me not to worry. She also said, next time, shewould help me find a better boy.
Thisstory gives me a fantastic memories of my teenage years. From thenon, I become a better person. Yang is my best friend, and I thinkthis is friendship. The boat has become the great ship of friendship.The ship never upsets easily.
