On the morning of February 27, invited by the School of Music, Professor Huang Datong, a doctoral supervisor from Wenzhou University, delivered a lecture titled “Research and Application of Art Projects” at the Lecture Hall in the Central District of Nanyang Normal University. The lecture was attended by more than 200 people, including Ji Wei, dean, Zhang Wenmin, deputy dean, and other leaders of the School of Music, as well as teachers and student representatives.

At the report meeting, Professor Huang Datong, against the backdrop of the rapid development of current science and technology and based on the forefront of disciplinary development, explained systematically the topic selection strategies and innovative ideas for art-related research projects. Professor Huang guided everyone to use artificial intelligence technologies represented by Deepseek to enhance topic selection skills and expand the depth of topic selection. He also analyzed the approval data and hot directions of the art projects of the National Social Science Fund in recent years through topic selection examples. Regarding the writing of project proposals, Professor Huang detailed several aspects of the writing key points, including common misconceptions in filling out project proposal forms.

Professor Zhang Wenmin, vice dean of the School of Music, stated in her concluding remarks that this lecture effectively addressed the practical puzzles faced by teachers and students in research project initiation, providing new ideas for the development of the School’s “Teaching-Research Platform”.
