Report Content: The report starts with the core of democracy and the criteria for judging the quality of democracy, introduces the proposal and evolution of whole-process people’s democracy, as well as its connotation and value, and discusses five issues for correctly understanding whole-process people’s democracy.
Introduction to the Speaker: Zhang Mingjun, a specially appointed professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of International and Public Affairs, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has published over 100 papers and undertaken more than 10 major projects, including the National Social Science Fund. He has received numerous awards, including the Second Prize of the 8th Outstanding Achievement Award in Scientific Research (Humanities and Social Sciences) by the Ministry of Education.
